HTC ha annunciato l’arrivo del nuovo HTC Tattoo, un dispositivo dotato di sistema operativo Android con cover intercambiabili, proprio come la maggior parte dei dispositivi Nokia.

Il telefono è il secondo dispositivo a esser dotato della tecnologia HTC Sense, un’interfaccia che mette le persone al centro di ogni attività, congiungendo divertimento, comunicazione e personalizzazione.
Il terminale è dotato di una fotocamera da 3,2 megapixel con autofocus, memoria espandibile, radio FM, antenna GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 e Wi-Fi e include applicazioni quali Google Maps, Search, Google Mail e Android Market dove è possibile scaricare diverse applicazioni utili.
La particolarità di questo terminale, come ho potuto accennare prima, è proprio la possibilità di cambiare la cover: esse possono essere infatti acquistate oppure disegnate per meglio esprimere il proprio umore.
L’HTC Tattoo sarà disponibile nei migliori negozi a partire dal mese di Ottobre.

For example, you could create your own, “Out Travelling” scene which gives you access to the local time, weather and maps for a smoother trip.

The ‘Stay Close’ feature lets you manage your contacts via all the different sources you are accustomed to. When you view people, you can see all the different ways you have been in touch, including different email accounts, social networking updates and phone calls.
Discover the Unexpected
Sick of trying to find a needle in a haystack when searching through your contacts or email conversations? The HTC Tattoo lets you search just about anything in a simple and intuitive manner.. The dedicated Search button combs through tweets in Twitter, locates people in your contact list, finds emails in your inbox and searches through appointments in the calendar, so finding what you need is as simple as pressing a button.

Android sta suscitando l'interesse di un numero sempre maggiore di produttori di cellulari. Se i primi a lanciarsi sul nuovo sistema operativo sono stati Htc (che ora conta a listino ben tre modelli basati su Android) e Samsung con il suo Galaxy, piano piano stanno arrivando tutti gli altri.
Dopo Motorola con il suo Dext, appena annunciato, anche Inq Mobile, ha annunciato, durante il Mobilize 09, l'evento organizzato da GigaOm a san Francisco, l'intenzione di produrre terminali basati sul Google OS.
Non si tratta a dire la verità di una notizia tanto imprevista, dal momento che la caratteristica dei terminali di Inq Mobile, società del gruppo Hutchison Whampoa, è proprio quella di essere integrati con servizi come Skype, Facebook e altri social network. Quello che invece ci lascia ben sperare è il fatto che l'altra caratteristica dei telefoni di Inq è quella di essere dispositivi di fascia medio bassa dal punto di vista del prezzo.
Finalmente, dunque, potrebbero comparire sul mercato terminali basati su Google Android con un prezzo ben più abbordabile rispetto a quelli attualmente disponibili. Chi pensava infatti che i telefoni basati su un sistema Open Source potessero mettere a disposizione funzioni avanzate a prezzi contenuti è rimasto certamente deluso dai vari Htc e dai Samsung.
